  • One awkward-path check based on a risky edge case appears during QA even though the design review already hinted at it
  • One evidence check that confirms logs, messages, or visible state match reality
  • One final note about who teams trying to prevent rework instead of just catching it will need to inform if risk remains open

What Makes Me Slow Down

I slow down when the result sounds positive but the evidence is thin. In Shift-Left Testing, shallow evidence often means the team can repeat a step, but it cannot explain why the result should still hold when conditions get less friendly.

I want evidence another person could read quickly and still understand. For this topic it often looks like early questions, lightweight examples, and testing concerns visible before build starts. When the conversation gets better, the testing usually gets faster as well.
